Modern Age Comics: Run-on Reviews
Avengers vs. X-men #2- Lots of entertaining action, dialogue was unsatisfying, whole issue was mildly pointless and could have been laid out better, although it has much potential to pick up in upcoming issues. (6/10)
Wolverine and the X-men #8- Great issue, sums up last ark and begins with the now relevant AvX, also due to this there was another arc possibility set up which seems promising, plus everyone is written so damn well in this comic. (8/10)
Venom #15- Jumped right in, this comics still makes sense along side Secret Avengers arcs flow next to each other nicely, love Remender in how he has written this and grown this character, this issue started a new arc with still mentioning a past arc that still has loose end, glad to see this. (8/10)
Batman Beyond Unlimted #3- okay this we break up. Superman best of this large book showed real emotion well written, Justice leagues section was not bad could have had more, Batman’s section always seems less serious but this was not the case here, lots of arcs going on, enjoying them all just dnt like being thrown around. (7.5/10)
